Is it possible to replace a long stepside bed with a short stepside bed on a 64 C-10? Thanks, Gary Miami Texas
OK is it possible ? YES Will it look goofy with the frame sticking out the back, or a gap between the bed and the cab? Yes. Are you willing to not have it look goofy by shortening the frame by removing the difference in wheelbase from the middle ? yes _ no _ Maybe _ DVal
It is possible to do this but you have to cut a section a frame out and weld your frame back together. I met a guy in Witchita Falls TX who did this project and it came out great. I just don't think it is worth the hassle. Besides I think Long bed fleets look good.
