I own a 1957 GMC and have recently purchased the bullet style bumper guards. I am confused on how to attach to bumper. Anyone have advise?

If it is a GMC bumper it'll already have holes in it. Chevy bumpers (and the repops that claim to fit Chevy & GMC) do not.

    Bumper Guards

Not sure if this will help you, I have a Chevy and the bumper guards I bought were not a real good fit, after using slightly longer bolts than came with them I finally got them to pull up nice and tight to the bumper. One other thing, I have an after market chrome bumper and when you bolt the bumper guards on you will get damaged areas where the guards touch the bumper, but you will not see the damage as long as you leave the guards on.

Do you have any pics (close up) of the attached Guards? I understand the bolt part underneath, but am confused about the bracket at the top of each?

    Where am I

I am in Ocala, I have only been to Jacksonville once, it covers a lot of acres.
Ocala is more my style, small town. Locals call it Slowcala.
Do you ever get down this way?

Next time you are coming this way let me know, I am recently retired so I should have no trouble meeting you somewhere in Ocala.
