well, my 64 already has disc brakes up front and has been converted to 5 lug at the same time. what id like to know, is can i just grab the whole rear end and the front spindles with the rotors, calipers, etc.. atached from a 6lug disc truck and swap them onto mine(im positive the rear will work fine), or will i have to change the front suspension out as well? there is a truck at the pick and pull that is 6 lug, i beleive its a 76 though i looked at so many dont quote me on that. thnx.

Up front all you have to do is swap out the rotor. In the rear end you are going to have to pull out the axle shafts. If I already had 5 lug I would keep it. You have way more rim choices with 5 lug than 6. Unless you trying to make a high end restoration there is no point in going back to 6 lug.
