    I introduced myself the other day as a new member and mentioned the rust issues I found after glass bead blasting my cab. Here are a couple pictures of "Southern Rust" that I'm having to deal with. (I could only get 2 photos to upload...guess I don't know how to do the photo thing right yet).

    The 2nd photo which clearly shows the rust on the passenger side front corner was taken after I removed that cab corner support. All 4 cab corner supports are toast (or maybe swiss cheese,,ha ha). I'm doing the passenger side sill, inner sill, kick panel, cab support, front floor panel, and cab corner. Then I'll move to the driver's side and replace all but the cab corner. I took some precise measurements of the cab before cutting parts out and then braced the door openings with spot welded angle to keep the cab square. This is pretty intimidating, but I'm going on with it. I'm a pretty good welder and WISH I was a body man too...NOT!

    You`re getting there, slowly but surely, its better t do it right once than to do it again....good job.!

    It looks to me like you're going to do just fine .

    I await the rest of the pictures , sometimes I can only post two at a time .
