Does anyone know the proper way to remove the entire lid of the under seat storage compartment on a 1948 panel truck? It looks like it simply snaps into place similar to a metal paint can, but I don't want to start prying and banging on it if this isn't the case. To be clear, I am not referring to just the small storage lids, but the entire section. I simply want to clean all the rust out of it while the rest of it is being done.
