So there I was , looking at a '52/'53 One Tonner with a true RUST FREE cab ~ not a single pin hole I could find anywhere and yes I spent some time looking .

So what did the damnfool do ? .

He removed the seat risor with a chisel making sure to destroy the cab floor too , then he left the junk there .

    Idiots .

I got a pile or original seat risers with the floor section attached to them.

So now the question is.... Does Nate want to do an easy fix & save the cab ?

I don't need an AD cab Joe .

The real question is why you don't want to sell to me ? .

    Cab Sale

Because Joe ; I keep asking you to sell me a '69 ~ '72 low hump cab and you ignore my queries , THREE direct E-Mails and in messages on this forum .

What else am I supposed to think ? .

I trust you but it appears you no longer want to sell to me .

Talk to me ! I have $ome $$ saved up for this and am ready to pull the trigger now .

I looked at the junkyard cab last night and it's really , really good , only having a tiny bit of surface rust in the corners of the widnshield pinchweld and some odd 3/4" ho;es punched in the floor & firewall here & there I'd need to weld up .

I'd rather have the real deal zero rust Arizona cab if I could , maybe a '71 / '72 .

So, is there a way to remove the seat riser? (see photo) I would love to do so to clean out the underseat storage compartment. If it is not possible, just call me damnfool.

    Different Job

That's not a seat riser , that's the tool box and I've never taken one out of a Panel Truck so I can't answer you .

On a happier note , Pablo came by again to - day looking for a used 235 engine and this old '52/'53 3600 has a 235 in it so maybe he'll go compression test it and yank it out this weekend .
