Had a fellow bring in a 57 Chevy with a 5.4 LS engine that had been converted to a 4bbl carb. Didn't get the name off the intake but it was designed to have an MSD box mounted right to four drilled and tapped holes. Also didn't note the size of the carb but would guess a 500 or 650. I do know it would kick an injected engines butt. We have another 57 with an LS2 and a 442 Olds also with a crate LS2 and the carbed one will smoke them big time. If you are willing settle for lousy fuel mileage, give up instant starting in all weather, and not have silky smooth running for tire smoke then this might be your bag.
I would think if your getting a newer motor you would want the good gas mileage and the easy starting/running in any weather or altitude from having the fuel injection! Rico
