Rico asked for some pictures of the way we do steering column drops and I thought others may also be interested. Many fill in the factory "arched" out dip in the bottom of an AD dash to give a column drop mount surface but I think having at least part of the top of the column in this arch makes a nicer looking install. We simply run a flat plate or angle iron from behind the dash and mount the drop to this. The column can then be moved up into the arch as far as it will go and look like it belongs there. I think this one could be a little higher.
