    Here's how it looks with AC. Can't live here in Texas and not have AC. Unless you only want to drive now and then.

    Bill ;

    Is that a " Vintage Air " HVAC setup ? .

    It looks pretty nice and clean .

    If ever I find a decent cab for my '69 , I hope to install AC into it , I'm going tp put in a 292 I6 anyway so it'll have plenty of power to run it .

    We have a 1950 three window getting an Atlas dohc I6, also called LL8 or Vortec 4200, project on the (far) horizon which has my blood stirred up a bit. Very smooth running engines with decent power which can be bumped up to a nasty 450hp with available turbo kits. All the basic good stuff like dohc, 12 port crossflow head, and variable valve timing. Google GM Atlas I6 for a good read. Might be an option to consider since they all have a/c and p/s mounted on the front accessory cover. Local yards and ebay are starting to have them available.

    Even though I have A/C, I do to. You have to roll down the window in an old truck and let your elbow hang out.......keeps you cooler.
