    Older Jeeps RULE !

Charles , I love that old CJ you have . the winter cab is a plus .

We had a '52 Willys M38A1 back on the farm in the 1960's , 24 volt system NO CAB (dammit) but it was terrific .

    Thanks Nate,
That cab is a must there in the desert where I go, it keeps all these sharp plants off us. Sometime, I will get the green 56 running again meanwhile the 60 does just fine.

    Wandering into Willys territory

Mostly a lurker here anymore, but since you guys sort of wandered off into what I'm doing these days. Here's a shot of my 48 CJ2A with my daughter and son-in-law, just out for a little Sunday afternoon trail ride.

If you like old Willys jeeps, http://www.thecj2apage.com/ is the place to go.
Here's a link to my project thread:

That is a great photo of a ol' flat-fender. I'm fightin' off the urge to post lots of mountain Jeepin' adventure pics! Don't know how long I can hold back...

    Thanx Stan !

As an old Farm boy who rode in battered vintage jeeps in the 1960's , I just had to read the entire CJ2-A build thread .

Nice works ! keep it up , rust never sleeps and ' patina ' is BULLCRAP because it'll kill your Grandpa's Jeep sooner than you think .
