Just thought we would let you guys know we just received a shipment of the 1937-1953 1/2 ton truck 3:55 ring & pinions.

These gears allow you to cruise at 65-70 MPH while still retaining your stock drive line.

We are offering them at the lowest price around of $350 W/FREE US shipping.

We can work out better pricing if you buy 10 or more.

    PM us for more info.

Is this a copy of Patrick's design, or do you source them through him?

We don't have anything to do with Patrick's business... but I can tell you that these gears come from the same manufacturer.

So, he did the design and paid for the tooling, and you just have the supplier run you some parts too?

    From what we understand.....
these were on a container with other parts that was never claimed or paid for & then auctioned off...

Don't know anything more than that except the ones we get are the lowest price around.

So if I have a stock 1952 1/2 ton Chevy enclosed rear axle and I was to install these gears...
    1) What other parts will I need to complete this swap??
    2) Will is get me better MPG and a little better MPH???
    3) What gears came stock in them??

Just wondering out loud...I have 1/2 axle that I could be putting into a 1 ton truck...I was actually thinking about getting a S-10 Blazer rear end...

    Any insight would be great...

    1 ) Bearings & seals {avail. from our host or J.C. }.

2 ) Top speed will vary depending on the motor you have but expect to cruise comfortably at 65-70 MPH with a stock 235 motor.
Gas mileage will depend on your driving habits but expect an increase in gas mileage even if you are a lead foot.

    3 ) Stock gears were 4:11

These gears seem to have "fallen off of the truck".
The guy who owns the truck that these "fell off of" also sells everything you need to install them.

That's who I would deal with.

    Cheers.

Based on the inflated price of the R & P gears listed in the above ad {which hasn't changed in 15 years}....

Anyone that is whacked out enough to pay $450 PLUS shipping ... For an identical item that they can get from us for $350 W/FREE shipping ... must be someone that "fell off the truck" & hit their head .

Just like WalMart says.... Save Money----Live Better

    Cheers.

    Wow.

You guys want to buy some stolen TVs, too?

Am I really the only one who sees a problem here?

Actually, yes he did -- by turning this forum into a Classified Ad for grey market merchandise.

Well, I never thought I'd have to jump in and defend Joe!
Let's just take what he said as factual, Joe may be rough sometimes, but, he seems to not BS anybody.
He says he BOUGHT the parts at auction. That means he is not a THIEF. He is, however a business man. You, I, or ANYBODY could have purchased said parts at the auction had we known about it and put our dollar down. Thats the free-enterprise system and I happen to love it! I hope Joe makes a PROFIT off of his risk because thats the way we all pay our bills.
I don't personally know Joe or Patricks auto parts but, may in the future buy from both. Joe was the first to respond to a parts wanted ad I posted here and did not get angry when I didn't buy.
I don't agree with many comments he makes, but he is knowledgeable.
I generally don't kick a sleeping mean dog, Rides, or try to bait a forum argument. WOW.

    RidesWithYah,

In order for the gears to be up for action someone failed to pay a bill which may or may not have an exclusive on them:eek:. Watch the tube and you see a zillion programs on buying items not paid for just with the storage wars alone:). Entrepreneurs make their $$$ on the buy :cool:an actionable outcome. A den of opportunists we are, that is why we drive what we do:D. As far as your tv?s go hopefully you were just joking about selling them across state lines.

The identical gears are being sold all over by many vendors....
We don't see this Ya-Hoo running around like scared little girl & accusing all of them of selling "stolen goods"

The only problem this dummy has is.... they cannot compete with the price so,in desperation they make up an elaborate B.S. story in hopes that you will still pay their inflated price on the parts.

If we were selling them for $450 you wouldn't hear a peep outta them.

We got a deal on the gears that we paid for & we posted an ad here to pass the savings along to a small group of truck enthusiasts.

You want to pay $150 more for them..... go ahead ....

We ain't twisting anyone's arm to buy anything.

If they have half a chance in hell of actually getting anyone to remotely believe any of these cockamamie stories and outrageous claims, I am sure they will have no problem providing the credible documentation of...

Their imaginary "rights to the parts" & blue prints registered with the patent office.
An itemized bill of lading documenting receipt of the parts.
A detailed police report documenting something missing.

Anything less than that documentation is nothing but a feeble attempt by a scared & desperate person that has made themselves irrelevant by jacking up the price of their parts to the point that no one wants them.

I sell the Altman latches at just over my cost........is that a problem? I call them in and they drop ship them.......just like everyone else does. I just don't make $75 on each.....spreading the savings to my peeps.
