    66 headlight/running light problem

How rusty is your truck? Ground issues are typical... try this, take a 20 ft long piece of 12 gauge wire and attach one end to the ground of the truck battery. Now touch the other end to the headlight switch bezel and see if that corrects the issue. If not touch it to the dimmer switch and...

    Uneven Stance

Our brand new 2019 Ranger has a 1/2" shim on the drivers side... from the factory. Most spring shops will tell you if it's within 1" to shim it. As long as the springs are in good shape I wouldn't hesitate to do a 1-1/2" shim.

    Lakeroadster's High Country Barn

Thanks Nate. We're living in a charmed era, yet many folks don't realize it. I'd love to have helped Lawrence learn CAD...... folks that have mechanical aptitude learn it quick... it's almost like an extension of their already God given experience based well honed talents. Here's the finished...

    Lakeroadster's High Country Barn

Good eye Steve! That's my Grandpa's saddle. When I was a kid I spent summers at Grandpa's. He lived about 2 miles from where we lived. I'd ride my 3-speed Huffy there. When Dad died he had Grandpa's saddle hanging out in his pole barn. It was pretty gnarly at that point, the leather was...

Curious for those of us with lets say a small block Chevy... how much money are we talking to swap to a FiTech self tuning throttle body? A grand, 2 grand?

    FRAMED

I used DP-90 on my Model A frame after sandblasting and painted it on with a brush. It has the original 1930 frame, with new cross members and boxing plates. Using a brush allowed me to get aggressive in hard to access areas to ensure good coverage. Be sure to use a good respirator....

    Inline 6 casting number??

I know.. it's an old thread, but a 250 in a truck... sounds anemic. My 1st ride was a 1970 Nova with 250 and 3 on the tree... and it was anemic.

    What year truck is this???

The grille would lead you to think it is from a 64-65 or 66. The door is from a 63-64-65 or 66

    Steve's 50 re-re-rebuild

You are a Gentlemen and a Scholar, Steve. Nice collection. I'll take a rain check. I think I'm done "building" vehicles. It's fun and I love it but it's like throwing money down a hole. I've recently returned to a hobby I had as a kid, Model Rocketry. I designed and built from scratch an...

1965 C10: what year is the radiator?

Check out this link Woog. US Radiator Based on the tanks yours looks like a 1973-1977. Keep in mind you may have a mixture of stock tanks on a different core. A good radiator shop can mix and match parts.

    January 2019 Weather

Last winter was pretty dry here in Central Colorado. Finally back to a somewhat normal pattern here this winter. The snow pack in the mountains is holding it's own which is a good thing for all those thirsty barbarians down in Denver.
