Thanks Steve. Header to motor mount clearance is less than an inch on the right side, about an inch on the left. No hood on my old Fords means it's all hangin' out in the wind though :cool:

Your last photo reminds me of why I removed the header flange and welded up my own short extensions on my Model A headers. No flange allowed me to run a full size starter, thus moving the flange back to an area where there was more room for it. Is that something you might want to try? _____...

Naah, they just think they have. That LS9 needs a bunch of computer controlled software shennanigans to make 650 hp.... The only software the Duster needs is the kind that pays for the racing fuel. Different strokes for different folks.

I'm thinking the two photo's you linked to are of different cars. This photo Looks like a 1950 Oldsmobile: The other photo's has me stumped.... It kind of looks like a '45-'48 Ford... but the tail lights aren't right? Was your Dad a hot rodder? I ask because maybe the car was modified.

I refuse to let anybody change the oil on my vehicles other than myself... which got me to wondering: How many other folks still change their own oil nowadays? I usually put the vehicles up on my 2 post lift... and the oil change is enjoyable. Not so much this time: We moved earlier this...

Why?..... Never mind. Yeah, that will work, just be sure to secure it well..... and anything you might want to haul.
