    Gas tank blues. :(

I just did this with my wagoneer, It set for 8 years. The tank was dry, I put some Gum out and several gallons of gas in the tank. Made a collar of cloth around my Air Dryer attachment on my compressor. With a tight fit and little air leakage I blew out the tank, from the gas cap filler end. It...

    Vacuum wiper motor

Electric..yes The electric motors are fairly inexpensive and bolt right in where your vacuum motor was. All you need to work properly is a 12volt source. A big improvement and have at least two speeds.:D

    Oil wetted I guess.

I went to NAPA, they checked the measurements and got one for me it doesn't sit down all the way as it should. I would like to see what you come with for yours. I use the paper filter for daily use and put on the oil bath for shows. Lets see a pic of what you come up with.

    A bit different

I'm subscribed to this post Evan.............there is someone here who put in a newer GM either small four or six with fuel injection. Coupled with a newer OD tranny you could get mid-twenties. It was so small a block that it really looked to be in balance with the motor compartment......like it...

I bought mine foe $160 several years back, when I got it out of the box and played around with it I realized i was missing some of the small pieces and hardware. Joe sent me some thankfully! Water pump woes......1949 216ci

Yeah, I'm looking at the same job when it warms up some. Its getting really squeaky and squealy running and is burping water on start-ups. I'm guessing you didn't need to remove the radiator to do this. How long will it rake assuming there are no unforeseen problems?

Thanks Mike and others.........I'll try Stovebolt for a code. 10% is not much but it will make shipping seem a bit more reasonable. I remember those $2000 days of my resto. Ouch!
