Need speedo drive gear that goes into tranny

This is an easy problem to fix.....don't dispair. You need to know the tire height, pinon gear tooth count and then it can be calculated by readily available formula's. You may not have the original rear-end. Many have been swapped over the years. If your old piece is good except missing driven...

Need speedo drive gear that goes into tranny

Everybody throws those Trannies out.....are you sure its a 3 speed or is there a granny-low. I have one but the gears may not be right....you need a scholar on this board. The gears are just press-on so there are different tooth numbers for different rear-ends and trannies. I think the extra one...

    transmission

There are newer rubber type RMS's, they are a pain to change, requiring a little metal line to pull it through....if you are lucky. Best is to drop crank...inspect bearings, replace seals and torque all back together.
