Looking for a 64-66 Chevy or GMC Short Bed Truck

I have an old friend that is getting tired and has decided that he can't finish a 66' short-bed, I think outside fenders. It is all there, mostly primered. There is a rebuilt IL6 engine. He will put it back togather some from where its at. He wants like $1500. I'd say the engine alone is worth...

    Floor Shift Conversion

If you are looking to buy an older tranny anyway. For the same money you can buy a Saginaw 4 speed, and patricks torque tube conversion for it. I have the 4 speed he recommends and his tailpiece and it is very slick. He sells a Hurst 4 speed comp-plus shifter for it as well. Put in his 3:55 rear...

Sad sight on the road today

Depends how hard it hit!! Either way you would have to open it up to see how worn out or damaged. The price is right:D

    power brake booster

I've used our sponsors booster on my 47' and also an Ebay booster on my 53', both are excellant and give your car much more of a new car feel. Stopping distances are unchanged as the underlying Huck/bendix systems are unchanged, but you can get down on them with much less effort on your Quads.

    Clean up seatbelts?

Nate i saw where you said you clean up old seat belts. To save re-inventing the wheel and time, what have you used. I was thinking an old bucket of soapy water and a scrub brush. Like Mom used to make us do with muddy sneakers.:D

    OWWW! My fingers ache

I just pulled my gauges to send back to rebuilders...minor problems. It took me more then an afternoon to get them out due to space limitations and my decrepitant shape. I figured i might ask if anyone had a favorite sequence for re-installing. I have the radio speaker panel out now too! I don't...

OMG!!>>>>you are not going to bugger up your dash are you? Nate will get you for sure. Somebody put a horn button on my 53's dash and I cuss him everyday....where ever he is. Don't do it.

    ignition

I think I know where you are going on this, stock foot pedel starters were around into the mid-fifties. If you have a newer 12 volt motor with key start (off-on-start). Then you will need to go to the later 56'? or so switch from our sponsor ($39). It doesn't fit in the hole in your dash as it...

    Fulton visors

Mucho Gracias, I ordered them, plus the barrel bolts already. When I removed my roof rack on my Wagoneer I was able to buy the threaded rubber anchors to bolt through the roof. I think I'll use those to mount to on the 47'. Those struts seemed a bit pricey...but they are stainless and better...
