    Loosen up the seal around the outside with a putty knife, THEN. Cut the seal from the INSIDE, then bump the glass OUT. Place a comforter or a few layers of drop cloth over the hood, and get a friend or two to help. Watch the edges !!! After it's out, clean and place blue painters tape...

    Dan, 60 Over is about as big as you want to go and still remain reliable. Personally I wouldn't go over that. Time for a new block, or V8 swap... ( I'd look for a new block. I love them stovebolts.) dv

    Just a suggestion.. You may want to throw the timing light on it before you go swapping distributors. You will need to set the timing after a swap, so why not do it before. It could be something very simple. dv

    In order to work on / remove the window the vent window needs to be removed. Remove the vent window bolts, lift the vent straight up and give it a half turn when near the top. You then have the room to get the window track back on the regulator, if that's the problem. The entire procedure...

    The conversion to disks WILL pitch the front outward but not 2 1/2 inches per side. I think normal would be about an inch and a quarter per side. dv
