Hey guys, going to do the 2 1/2 drop spindles and discs on my 62 soon. Has anyone tried taking the calipers to a machine shop to have them milled instead of grinding them down with an angle grinder? Then would you still need spacers? This is so they will clear the inside of the old rims...

Ok, finally got around to an update. Put the 305 with 3spd overdrive in with one day to go before hauling our camper up to Watkins Glen racetrack for the vintage races. Took a risk with a leaking rear main seal and t-stat housing but did some prayin and hit the road. Truck ran great and pulled...

Still locating parts to change my 6yl 62 C10 to a V8. Truck now is a 235 with a T-10 4 spd. Going to a 305 with a late model manual 3 speed overdrive. Trans is a New Process where the 4th gear is the overdrive. These came in a limited number of early 80's Chevy pickups and are the same type...

Looking for advice on engine swap for a 1962 C10 2 wheel drive. Want to take out the 6cyl and put in a small block. Will motor frame mounts from a 67 truck work on my frame? Want to use the side mounts on the block, not the front 'bird leg' setup. What are my options for side mounts? Also using...
