I am trying to up grade the front clip on my 6 lugg drum brake front end. A "shade tree mechanic" said that unbolting the front clip from under a donor 1985 pickup will bolt right on..... has anyone done this before?? That's alot of work to have to put the old right back... Any notice to this...

I am thinking about doing a front to cab swap onto a 1992 frame. Will this work without any problems? Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated. I am a first timer on a project of this measure. My main concern is the radiator cradle to the cab mounting on the frame. I think everything else...
