Has anyone put (2-3 inch) wider fenders on their 47-54 truck? I think I am about to go for it. Will have to go with the flared running boards also. If anyone has do you have a picture?

How do you get these stinkin' lock pins outta the front axle on a 51' without heating them up or removing the front axle all together? Does a c press (for u-joints) have enough guts to press these pins out?

Will this work very well? My 1951 3100 has a 1965 283c.i. engine(stock as far as I know) I am hooking up a 700r4 tranny to it soon. The rearend is from a 1970 1/2 ton truck with 3.07:1 gears. Tire height to be 26/27 inches. This will be a daily driver with minimal highway driving so it...

Does anyone have an opinion for this configuration? I have been told twice now that it is tooo much carb for that size of an engine that is probably mostly stock except for the headers. I feel like maybe I just made a somewhat expensive mistake. Let me know what you think. Thanks....Ken

Have not got in the box to see what the damage is but does anyone have a good idea of what I might be faced with? Is there a heater core or a valve in there or both?

What is the widest tire anyone has tried to install without wider fenders or massive frame mods? I measured 14.5 inches from outside of frame to inside lip of fender on my 51. My plan is to go as big as possible without major mods.

Do the springs face outward or do they face inwards towards each other?

Getting ready to install new front leaf springs. Got all new hardware, shackles and rear bolts. These springs are designed to achieve a 3 inch drop on the front end and might get close to 4 with the v8. Steering is stock. Has anyone who went this direction to drop the front have any problems...

Just bought some, thought it would be an easy job. Might be but I have not started it yet since I realized that the window guide has to move or come completely out. My question is which is it? Can I work around the window guide? or........ do I need to disassemble the door to replace...
