Wanted to say Hi and a couple gauge questions

When I ordered my panel they had to make for the 3 3/8 ultra-lite gauges. It only took a few more days but it was worth the wait. From what I understand the dolphin gauges are a very good set up.

Hate to hear that. I'm not crazy about roll pans on the 60-66 trucks. Good luck correcting your problem.

Wanted to say Hi and a couple gauge questions

I bought my gauge insert from Boese engineering in Tempe Az. I ordered mine to go with my Autometer Ultra-Lite gauges. I really wanted the five inch tach and speedometer but the dash was to narrow. Anyway the phone number is 480-968-2550 or boeseengineering.com.

    New GMC's are junk

I drive a 1997 extended cab Silverado and my wife ha a 2004 Tahoe with no major problems to speak of. On the silverado I replaced the intake gaskets, just the nature of the beast (vortec engines). It has enough power to pull me and my car trailer. Oh, and it's paid for. The Tahoe has been a...

    65 Fleetside rear bumper/bracket installation?

The small holes should be for the bumper bracket covers. This piece goes between the bottom of the tailgate area and bumper and should be painted the color of your truck. Hope I helped.

    Cut front coils

I agree with 66 kustom saftey first. In my younger days i took short cuts to try to save money. But it cost me more money to fix the problems the short cut caused. Good luck which way you decide.

    trans question help

At the time my trans was built, painless was the only company that offered a kit. That was back in 1997. After the trans shop was done with it the only thing i had to do was install the new brake lamp switch and the vacuum supply. The only time i turned the switch was over 60 mph. Four gears was...
