    52 GMC New Rims!!!

Well hello! Sorry i actually sold this truck last summer. The hub caps I got for my truck were from Jim Carters. They were exact replicas of my original ones. My original ones basically turned to swiss cheese after the sand blasting. But they fit those rims perfect. I did have to custom...

    '51 216 starting problems

You'll have to be more clear on what you mean it "won't start". Does it crank and just won't fire? Let's assume that is the case. When it cranks but won't fire check for 2 things. Fuel and spark. 99% it is one or the other with your symptoms. Easy check for spark, get a spark tester and...

A wonderful sad day but I'll be around

Thanks guys! Yes it does come with the territory. Just the other day I helped a 5 guy and his bride in a 58 buick. Sweet car! They just had a flat tire. Glad to have this fuel pump back going and prevented from this common problem. Glad to see everyone is doing great still!

Kansas guy saying hello and with a new project

Awesome awesome truck! Best advice is above to just get it driving safely and reliably and just drive it. With such a solid running truck don't tear it apart just drive it and enjoy while you figure out what to do. But hey it is your truck after all, if you want to tear it down by all means...

A wonderful sad day but I'll be around

Yeah it is. Still excited to see it go to a good home. To someone that will just like it for what it is. Not tear it apart and put in a modern drive train. Not that I am against that, just not for this truck. Their are plenty out there that are NOT good reliable drivers. This truck has...

Glass & Rubber from our host

If it were me I would go with Steel company. I got some rear window rubber from here, now my truck sat outside for 3 years, driven quite a bit. The chrome part is coming off. Looks very weathered and just bad. The rubber looks okay, not great. I think Nate talks about the good quality...

    Hello, My Name is...

I asked around to about 5 body shops. Told them what I wanted. Got contacts to about 5 guys that were either retired or did work on the side. Found a great guy that charged me a very reasonable price. Took him a 93 Mazda car to cut out and replace some rust. 300 bucks later I had new metal...
