welcome to the forum Iam doing a 66 stepside,I lowered the front with drop spindels and converted it to dish brakes.I bought the set from POL .

I used a wiring harness from EZwiring 21 circuit ,bought it of ebay including shipping it was 170 dollar. It is easy to install and had no problems with it.

its running I was of for the holidays and found time to spend on the truck.I got it wired up and test the wiring, after that it was time to start the engine for the first time . it fired right up and is running good. :D Still can,t drive it have to wait for the lokar kit to show up to connect...

I rewired me truck and used a EZ wiring kit. the kit is easy to use but doesnt have any ground wiring . I did what Markeb01 did ,Am still working on me truck to get it on the road this spring ,but I test the wiring and it works great.

these engines are great. last forever with low maintenance cost.we used a 300D for pulling verry heavy trailers and never give use problems.

going to run a 700r4 tranny. I bought those headers of ebay don't know the brand.only payed $170 for them.

installled me crate engine and rollpan + tailgate Installed me crate engine ,I bought the tubelar motor mount from cpp .they didnt work for me the headers where running right in to them. had to go back to the orignal mounts. still waiting for me pulley to show up. I have to wire the engine yet...

I just put a new engine in me truck and I turned the oil pump with the drill first to prim the pump it only took like 2 seconds to get it primed and let it pump for 3 min ,I was getting 50 psi on the gauge . Good luck and let us know how you make out.

I believe they are from a 92 or 98.full size chev truck seats will fit also,they have the seat belt in the back rest also.am sure Doge did also for a couple years.
