What do you think this is worth

It's your truck Build it the way you want it. Your the one that will be driving it and paying for it! There are all kinds on this board. That's what is interesting!

    Ventilating one car garage

Line voltage stat available at any hardware store (around here) and hook it to the biggest blower motor you can find. Cut a hold in the wall mount the blower motor to it and you have redneck ventilation. Depending on what your trying to do cut the hole low or high or do two. Blower motors are...

What do you think this is worth

Old grain truck If you look sometimes you can find old farm trucks the big iron. I found one at Nate's suggestion, sold the front end sheet iron ( it's different) got a cab that was darn near perfect (the same as your truck) and I took the running boards and made patch panels for my rusted...

    Windshield

I was almost all the way around and a slip put the tool through the rubber seal. Glad everyone had taken cover by then. I would hate to have to do that for a living! It's a "building character" job. Papy

Karen That was the worst thing I did! My wife left the garage...house and town about an hour after I started it. My neighbors learned some new words and several adult beverages were killed. Did you get the "tool"? If not get one. If you find a one piece please post as I buggered mine up...

    I hate wiring!

Karen With the new harness the turn signals should have been pretty straight forward for my truck. They just don't work. I must have nicked or melted or miss-wired something...and then got frustrated. Evan got me back on track and my production mgr at the plant set me straight. Told me to...

Tested the turn signal switch it works as it should so. Problem is in the harness somewhere. Yeehaw. I think I'm going to chase that down after the wedding. Hope the folks in the city know I'm signaling and not just waving. Thanks Evan. Couldn't see the trees for the forest. Papy

    I hate wiring!

Ah Zig Bill. I bought the harness that allowed you to hook up blinkers or I think I did. It had instructions on how to wire stock and w/turn signals. Break lights and running lights work fine. I have been over the wires and diagram several times. There is no doubt I have something wrong...

    I hate wiring!

All I am at whit's end. The 53 is 12v and I have a new wiring harness and turn signal assembly form our host. The front blinkers (in running lights) work great the back blinkers both blink on both left and right signal. I have been across the wiring a couple of times, ran ground from both...

    Need a seal.

I took the trany out of a 48 grain truck 1 1/2 or 2 ton. Save the old drive shaft. I took the end that bolted to the trans and the measurement to Inland Truck in KC and 150 later have a great set up. Nate did tell me the check final drive gear and it was 1 to 1. The grain truck only had 50k...
