    Disc brake conversion

I am looking at all the different choices for converting the manual brakes on my '69 C10 to power disc / drum. Any thoughts on who sells the best complete kit? Also, I see that some places have rear disc conversions and others do not. Are rear disc brakes necessary? Any thoughts or...

    Block casting number?

THIS WAS COPIED FROM MORTEC.COM "Some of the Gen.1 smallblock motors used blocks with an additional 1% tin and an additional 2% nickel added to the cast iron alloy. These desirable blocks can be identified by looking at the block face under the timing chain cover for "010" AND "020". These...

    The effects of horse power

I am weighing my options as far as building up my existing 350 or dropping in a new crate motor. Anyway, my question is if I end up with 400+ hp, are there any "weak" areas I need to be concerned with (rear end, drive shaft, suspension, etc.)?

    Aftermarket Gauges

I am considering replacing my original gauge cluster in my '69 C-10 with a custom panel and all new aftermarket gauges. It seems like it would be as easy as scraping my existing gauges, bezel, printed circuit board, and all the kind of stuff, installing the new gauges and wiring them up. I'm...

    Suspension help

I am the proud new owner of a '69 C-10 Stepside. With this, I'm sure there will be many questions. The first is about the coil springs. The truck had been lowered before I purchased it. Unfortunately this was done by cutting the coil springs - front & rear. I have seen many places to buy...
