    Gas Guage problem

    check behind the seat and see if the "brown wire" is still connected to the sending unit,if this wire comes disconnected your gas gauge will "pegout". Sometime it gets crushed :eek:,it runs along the floor on the drivers sill with the orange and white wire for the dome light. jeff

    Im not "slamming" classic's parts, but why would you pay $170(shipped) for a fender thats readily available at any wrecking yard for $50-$75 :confused:.Youll have less fitment problems with a Gm made fender. jeff

    when you unplug the connector from the ext regulator i "believe" you should cut and crimp the blue and brown wire together these go to your gauge/light. From you alt harness you also need to hook up the blue to the alternator(gauge related) white wire not used im more 67-72 :eek:guy but...

    1 common thing is a bad ground on the relay itself.Check that, maybe run a "temporary" extra ground wire to the body.Heres a wiring diagram maybe it will help ya out a little. jeff:)
