My fuel gauge only shows 1/4 when full yet will still works its way to empty any suggestions to the problem? I have replace the sending unit.:confused:

I have a 71 C10 and the fuel gauge will only show a 1/4 tank when the tank is full. I have installed a new sending unit but still have the same problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated:confused:
