    Will a 383 bolt up to a 700r tran.

    I have an 85 K10 Longbed, I want it to grunt when I hit the gas. Why would GM put a 305 in this truck ?

    Hey The Carpenter, I'm sure you have this fixed by now. You have to connect the ecm to adjust the timing. The distributor has a 6 prong ignition...
