15 inch tiers and rims

    i whant to use radials and oridginal hub caps on 1948 1/2ton 6 lug. i need tiers and rims. are the original rims adiquit or what other year rims are available and what is the rim size and tier size. thanks

    The original one piece rims are more than adequate .

    Be sure to use LT tires as your truck is heavier than a passenger car .

    I posted the correct size but forget what it is right now so look in older posts , to get the right vintage look , it is important to use the correct aspect ratio .

    The good folks here will chime in with the correct size shortly .

    When you switch to radials keep in mind you may need to reset the toe.On my 57 I had to set the toe to less than a 1/16 toed in and a caster adjustment.I'm happy with the results of the radials.
