1940 taillight

    hey guys i was looking for a taillight like this for my 53 anyone knows where i could pick one up? i love the text on the lenz. maybe i should get one with a spanish tranzlation. for the other 1/3 of the drivers in socal

    This is a 40 ford truck tail light lens. Very popular should be easy to find.

    thanks i just ordered a set! aparently the stop lenz is amber. i'm not sure if i can install some red leds to get the dot approved red but what the hey!!

    That's a 1930 ~ 1931 Ford Model 'A' taillight and the lens is a copy of a period aftermarket acessory .

    When I used to run Model 'A's I preferred the inside stencil as the lens appeared solid red untill you stepped on the brake , only then would the "STOP" become visable .

    I also like the '33 / '34 Ford stoplights , similar but different , you'd never belive where i use one , NOT on any Chevy ! :D

    Let the taunting begin ~ I've owned and enjoyed , many old Fords over the years too ~ nearly all had InLine engines :cool:
