Just wondering why the 46 Chevy isn't part of the forum. I was recently hired
to work on a 46 Chevy at our shop. I am not an expert on this truck but am looking for a bit of info. Anyone know of a forum that discusses 46's? Thanks.

hey, jroth, try www.stovebolt.com they have a good forum and lots of guys who are willing and able to answer questions too. alot of parts are interchangable from '41 through '46. Another excellent site is the online chevy manual website. that website is www.chevy.tocmp.com good luck

Here's a couple more ideas for you. Call GM and get them to send you a restoration packet for the '46. Call 1-800-222-1020 and tell them that you are restoring a '46 chevy pu and they will send you technical data, paint schemes etc for the project. Very good info. You might want to also get a copy of 2 books that give a lot of history behind the "Wurlitzer Juke Box" trucks. The first book is "Chevrolet Pickups 1946-1972" by John Gunnell and "How to Restore Your Chevrolet Pickup" by Tom Brownell. And last but not least, get a copy of "Chevs of the 40's" catalog which contains a lot of info and parts for the project. Their website is www.chevsofthe40s.com
