I am looking to add a bench seat to my 1947 Chevy Thriftmaster. I know an S-10 seat will fit well, but looking for other suggestions other than the original type. Any advice? Thanks!!

check out some of the pics in the topic old navy trucks. They have a cool looking seat in the silver truck.

We off a contoured bench seat for your truck. It's the same bench seat we used in the silver 52 in our showroom. They run right around $895.95 uncovered, and with the contour to the seat it gives you alittle more room behind the wheel. If you are looking to find a seat out of a donor truck or car the original seats were 55 inches from side to side. Hope this helps, good luck!

Is that 55'' one side of the cusion to the other or 55'' at the frame (base). What year of S10 bench fits in the truck? I like the seats from the newer Sierra trucks but they are too big, but if I can get one from a new s10

I cruised the pick-a-part a few years back and found a nice split-bench power seat out of a late 80s model Buick. Its pretty cool, it goes up,down, forward, backward and tilts all at the flick of a switch! Think I only paid 50 bucks too!
