Oil cannister hookup Welcome aboard Pail butler. The old Chevy manual link shows clearly how to manage the hookup. The other link is from members here at the forum ! I would advice to check out the tiny miny passage hole inside the cannister before using it , as they easely get clothed up by oil sludge . With the result that no oil runs through the drain but wil be pressed out of the cannister top cover! Good Luck With the truck Martinius. P.s. maybe you could post some pics of Your AD. These old farts here at the forum love them . http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/miscellaneous/oilcanister.htm https://talk.classicparts.com/showthread.php?t=8927&highlight=filter
