    Hi everyone,

I am a new member and just purchased a 1954 truck mounted on an early/mid 80's K-10 chassis and suspension. I'm a country boy so the 4x4 was a requirement!

Does anyone else have this setup? I am interested in seeing any pictures and hearing of your experience with this setup (pros and cons).

    Thanks!

Welcome to the forums! I don't have a truck like this, but have seen a few. Care to share photos of your new ride? We like photos!

How do you add pictures? The only button I found that allows pictures to be included only let's you put in a web site URL.

Welcome Cajun! Texas is a pretty big place! Where in Texas are you? Some of us live in the Tomball/Magnolia area. Truck looks pretty good. Way up off the ground, huh?

Live on the east side of Dallas in Rowlett. My ranch is in NE Texas, south of Clarksville. Seems to be quite a few members in Texas. :)

Just bought the truck...been looking for one for years. She's got a bit of lift to her, and I am still trying to figure out if I will use her around my ranch and to do a bit of casual mudding. Definitely need to keep it street legal and drivable on the highway.

Will probably end up doing a new paint job, redo the interior, add a winch and off road lights, and put on some new mudders and rims. :)

Everyone around Dallas seems to drop or bag their old trucks, so I haven't seen a 4x4 or slightly lifted.

I hope others on the forum can help with pictures and ideas for my 4x4! :D

    4x4 frame mounting

I am currently swapping a '50 on a 85 k20. Do you have any pics of cab mounting? Do you know what steering column is in it? Right now we are fixing the cancer on the floor b4 I can get it mocked up on the frame.

I just bought the truck over the weekend...its being shipped here next week. I will need to take some more pictures and post so you can see how the cab and steering are setup.
