    Hi,
I have a 1960 Chevy 1/2T StepSide p/u. I was given the original rims and notice they have 3 tabs on each. I understand the 3 tabs are for the hubcap which I plan on purchasing. My question is that one rim has a broken tab; in searching Chevy Duty I found replacements but it states I need 6 per rim. Is this true? Do I have the wrong rims?

Also, would the stock beauty rings fit these rims too?

    Thanks, Russ

Some wheels had six tabs and some had three.I believe your wheels might be 1958-59 wheels. All the 1960-66 had six,I believe. Its hard to say what all the factory did.

    Craig..

Thanks for all of the answers you supplied for this and other questions.

I checked with the original onwer and this rims were the factor and only have 3 tabs each. I believe it follows along with what you stated that probably the factory had rims left over from the 59 year and used them up first. Besides the truck was bought in 59 thus it was manufactored in 59.

    Thanks again ;)
