    Hi evryone..

I need to know which color is the stock color for the white on the bumpers, grill and on some models, the roof? Is it one of the following: Color Code Name
    936 Ermine White
    521 White, Pure Wite
    526 Off white, Ivory

I understand that the names changed but the codes didn't. I am looking for the white for the above areas on my 1960 c10 and 1965 c36

Thanks in advance... hoping the whit is the same for both years..
    ..Russ

    Try this link: http://www.oldchevytrucks.com/cgi-bin/htmlos.cgi/00388.2.3614742515612375831
    Click on "color combinations".

    Hope it helps,

    Hey Russ,

I had a similar question and according to Jim #####, the 521 White, Pure white, was used for trucks whose bodies were painted with 521. If the trucks were painted a color besides 521 white, the grille, bumper and hubcaps, etc. were painted with 526.

I know the 521 and 526 were the only whites from 63-66 so I'm not sure if the above info applies to 60-62. The answer I got was regarding a question about my 65.

    Hope this helps.

    Hey bk..

Thanks again for the information. Your right about the 63-66 years. I believe the 526 color was used for the 60 to 62 but was called something else.

    thanks again for the info
    Regards, Russ

I have an original 1960 Truck data book, and according to it
the only two 'whites' were 'Pure White' and 'Bombay Ivory'.
If one ordered a white truck, it came all 'Pure White'. If one ordered any other color, the trim was 'Bombay Ivory', and
this included all two tone combos as well. The 'Ermine White' was only avalable for passenger cars which included
    el camino and sedan delivery.
