I hope someone can educate me. I have a 1961 C-20 with what I believe are 456 gears and a 4 speed manual transmission. My question is are there any gears I can get to change this out to somewhere around 373with out changing the hole rear end. I heard the ¾ ton truck has a bigger rear end and I would like to keep it but if I could change the ring and pinion that would be good just want it a little better on the road and keep the original rear end. I would appreciate any help I could get on this.
