I never heard of a C15 or C25. I thought Chevy trucks of this vintage were C10, C20, C30....whats a C15 ?? Is it an internal model designation ??

The Series Designations are C15, C25, etc. For example, a C15 is a 2wd, 1/2 ton, long wheel base (C10) and a C25 is a 2wd, 3/4 ton, long bed (C20). These Series Designations identify the chassis designations (C=2wd & K=4x4), GVW (1=1/2 ton & 2=3/4 ton) and wheel base (4=115" wheel base & 5=127" wheel base).
