all of the pics I have seen of brake kits have brackets on the rear of the booster like a 1985 c10 booster that I have. I also have a 1989 c10 booster with no brackets,
I would like to keep the booster close to the firewall and use the 1989 booster.
Has anyone used newer boosters with no brackets?

On my 66 C10, I used the brake booster/master cyl and porportioning valve off a 93 Jeep Cherokee. It was the right size and required no brackets. However, where it attaches to the firewall it has a slight angle that I had to deal with.
