Does anyone know what gear ratio a 1973 C20 would have in it,or how could I find out?I am planning on putting it in my 1949 3/4 ton,but I dont want something that has near similar gearing. My manual says I have 4.57 or 5.14.Would a 4.11 get me going 65?Any help is much appreciated. Thanks,Mike

Measure the height of the tires and let me know I can figure what RPM you will be turning.

To find out your rearend ratio take the cover off and spin it until you see the a number on the ring gear.It should be #:#,then divide the number by the other and it will give u 4.10 or 3.73 or 4.56 in that type of rearend,or a number close to that.
