I am gettin ready to buy a 1987 LWB 305 with the factory TBI, it has 67000 miles on it. My question is that im thinkin about leavin the TBI unit on their an just tuning it up to keep it original but with my exhaust will i get the Lope and sound of a Carburetor? My plans include to just cruise with the truck not so i jus want the sound of the old muscle cars, also What headers and exhaust should i consider?

Depending on what exhaust you run it will sound very similar to a carburated motor. Is the truck a 4x4? if it is than i would put shorty headers on it. if you want performace sound go with a good muffler like flowmaster or dynomax or flowtech etc... depends what you want it to sound/perform like.

;) That was well wrote "Heavy86Chevy"
this is a very good point so meany forget about the off roading clearance of the long header. Then fight with beat up headers and leaks the hole time there on.:(
