1988 GMC Sierra Classic 2500 4x4 I am the second owner of this California suburban. I bought it from the original owner with 16,000 miles on it. I have the window sticker but my scanner is not working or I would show it. I will list what the vehicle has for equipment. I have replaced the engine with a NEW (not remanufactured) ( Not rebuilt) GM crate motor about 50,000 miles ago. I spent over $5,000 on the NEW motor and installation. The truck is in great running shape. I would not hesitate to take it across the country. Factory Equipment Tinted Glass, Center Rear 3rd Seat, Intermittent wipers, Heavy Duty Chassis equipment, 3.73 Rear End, Locking Diff, 5.7 Liter gas, TH400, 40 gallon gas tank, Aux battery, Towing device, Front Quad Shocks, Two tone paint, white/grey. Other There is no body rust on this truck. It is completely solid. I had it repainted about 8 years ago. There is a little damage to the drivers door as my neighbor backed out of her driveway and hit it. The interior is in good shape for almost being a 25 year old classic. This is one of the great old square body trucks. Great for a person who loves this body style. I get compliments every time I take it out. Tires are newer toyos with lots of tread FINE PRINT This is a list of things that I know have problems. Electric windows move slowly. I did have the 2 front motors and mechanisms replaced. Crack in front windshield. I have upgraded the A/C to the new 134a. Could use new door gaskets as they are old and drying out. Electronic locks could use a little TLC. Interior does show age but easily available from www.ClassicParts.com. Recent Work Replaced Blower Motor, Complete Tune-up, distributor cap, rotor, plugs, wires, & coil. Repaired A/C blows cold Contact Don @ 512-695-3638 I have a complete photo album at http://www.gmsquarebody.com/forum/album.php?albumid=167 with tons of pictures.
