Ive got an 89 1/2 ton 4X4 that I recently bought that a punk kid shelled out the rearend.
It has a strong 350 in it and from what Im told they towed it about 60 miles with no gear oil in the rearend!
Are the axles damaged or do I need to take it completely apart and inspect, etc?
I believe that it has 3.73's in it?
I'd like to fix it for an extra rig and/or push snow with it this winter.

What kind of trouble am I looking at to fix it?

    Thanks

I would take it apart to check it 3.73 turning for 60 miles no fluid could hurt it. I would put in good fluid new gasket some addive of your choice.
    good luck.

I found another complete rearend, so I think that I'm just going to swap them out and be done with it.
Then hope everything else works, lol.

    Thanks
