1996 3/4 ton to 1 ton

i have a 3/4 ton truck i'd like to convert to a 1 ton , will the 1 ton rearend fit on the 3/4 ton springs or do i need springs also , my motor slung a rod so i'm doing TOTAL rebuild on the truck i'll also need to convert the front end also any information will help
