I have a 99' Yukon and it has a 5.7 vortec in right now. It is getting tired and I am thinking about replacing the motor with a new crate 6.0 from an escalade. It has all the fuel injection stuff and is basically a plug and play. What I'm wondering is, if it is posible to do such a conversion and what needs to be changed to make room for this, will my computer have to be burned...etc. Will the engine mounts need to be moved?? Basically is this going to be worth the hassle or should I not bother?? Has anyone ever heard of someone doing this?? Thanks any info.
