2.5 inch drop spindle question

Hi Folks, doing a restore on my 1972 Chevy C-10 1/2 ton and installing wildwood drop spindles, so do I need to also replace the coils springs when I do this or can I leave the stock coils?

If you are happy with your current springs, you can keep them. The joy of the dropped spindle is the ride and (most) geometry don't change. I say most because the It may feel little different at the steering wheel when you turn the wheels (mine did), but I prefer that method for lowering vs a softer/shorter spring personally.
