2004R or 700R4

I have a 1/2 ton 70 pickup with a 350 motor. When I bought it I was told it had a THM475 transmission and 4.11 gears. I have done some research on here on how to get better MPG. 700R4 has been talked about with great success. Does any one have any options about the 2004R? Which would be the better one to go with? I also plan on going to a smaller engine at some point either a 307 or 283. Thanks for the input

200R4 is like a 350TH with a 3" tail end length
700R4 is like a 350TH with a 6" tail end length
The first gear in the 200R4 is steeper then the 700R4

The 200R4 comes as 2WD Trans only.
The 700R4 comes as 2WD Trans or 4WD
It depends on what you going to use it for and put it in.

I installed the 700R4 in my truck. The drive shaft was shortened 2.5" and a new crossmember was installed. A TV cable was installed with a TV kickdown adaptor. The adaptor is required for the installation when using an aftermarket carb. The linkage will pull the TV cable out of adjustment each time you go to wide open throttle. I also got new speedo drive gears so the speedo works properly. Check out www.bowtieoverdrives.com. You will also need to install a tranny cooler or you will burn the tranny up.
