Found this picture on the internet, Looks like a 1958 front clip and rear bed on a Silverado cab and chassis. See what happens with time, tools and money and oh yea more money. Kind a grows on ya like a wart!

Thanks for posting the photo... quite interesting.

I never understand these endeavors. For what they guy has in the rig he could have had a concours restoration done on a '58 or '59 but with an all modern drivetrain and electronics. Then he would have had a truck that would have some actual resale value.

    Well.......

Other than the raised up hood it all looks O.K. I guess.....

    Me , I'm old & foolish so I'd rather have a '58 with Hydromatic Drive and a 261...

To each their own I think .

    Isn't that hood chrome from a '59?
Looks like the whole thing is made from fiberglass and customized to fit the contours of the original truck it is on. Lots of work. Wonder if the maker of this ever thought about making them to fit an original 58 and 59?

    Could be

There could be a DoraMax Diesel under that hood? and that is a 59 emblem. Could be parts of a 38 Apache short fenders, either way loads of work. There were no other pictures or comments about it listed on the internet.
