Wonder about the story on the "two speed" trans but with that said the 58-62 235 is a better engine than the 54-57.

Allen, I've been looking for some brake parts. If you're gonna make any major changes to the rear brakes, I need the parking brake spreader bar and the levers that attach to the rear brake shoe and park brake cable. Let me know if you have such stuff please. Thanks, Bill

    I Keep Telling You Guys......

And here's yet another one for the RIGHT price ! .

I kinda sorta wish I were a few decades younger , I'd grab it and freshen it up , paint it " Just So " then die with it still on the engine stand 25 years later....

I simply cannot imagine why all the old Chevy nuts don't grab every single 235 available as they plop right in place of that wheezy old 216 babbit pounder and make the whole Vintage Chevrolet thing so much more enjoyable .

I'd love to go snag this stuff, Nate. But going to pick it up in Arizona from Iowa would cost me far more than the parts themselves! :D

Thanks for the invite, Allen. When my Chevy project gets finished up (and it will... I just dunno when...) I plan on taking a tour with it. Possibly to visit any forum members here who have helped me along the way, so I can humbly thank them face-to-face.

If you ever get to make the trip, let me know. I don't live that far from the Missouri and Illinois stretches of the road.

If I do not show up I'm out 200$ and a nice drive with the 48 to Payson, not likely to happen. Chevy is now sporting Az. tags and she needs to get out on those roads more than I have lately with her.
