I know places like Terrill Machine has them but usually a bit higher than regular parts stores. I think TRW and Manley still offer them. If your dealing with the big chain stores like Auto Zone or Oreilly's then they can't fathom anything not on their God status computers. I deal with a private parts store and they don't have to know the year, 2WD or 4WD, standard or automatic, etc., etc., etc. If I walk in the door and ask for a sbc gasket set they just ask 86 or older(two piece rear main seal) or 87 or newer(1 piece seal). If push comes to shove, intake valves are very easy to cut on a lathe so some 1.96 or 2.02 valves could be cut to size, but it's just not necessary at this time.
